"Drawing inspiration for my work from the beauty and grace of the natural environment, I strive to reflect this in my paintings and bronze sculptures so the viewer can evoke a memory, an emotion, or share in a captured moment in time."

Tim Norman Arts

Born and raised in Wallowa County Oregon, Tim grew up on a farm along the Lostine River where at an early age he liked to draw, photograph and carve wildlife and the natural environment around him.  His first formal training began at Enterprise High School exploring drawing, painting, sculpting and the potter's wheel.

Working in bronze production for the past 30 years – Tim started at an entry level position, worked his way through production manager, and now owns his own business where he has used intimate knowledge of the process to produce original fine art castings in his shop for the past 17 years. This is where Tim creates and produces his original artwork near Enterprise Oregon. Tim handles all his own patina work on the sculptures, giving a personal touch to each bronze.

Tim’s first paid commission came in 1979, a portrait of Chief Joseph with a mountain back drop. Since that time he has been pursuing a professional art career participating in shows and displaying in galleries across the US. Tim’s artwork is enjoyed by collectors through out the United States and Europe. In addition to placing Heritage A life Size bald eagle in Joseph Oregon, His commissions have included a 3’ x 5.5’ bronze wall relief of a Horse Drawn Combine titled ‘Harvest” for St. Anthony’s Hospital in Pendleton Oregon, The life size Bald Eagle for a private collector in Washington State. Tim is currently Maintenance Supervisor at Dworshak National Fish Hatchery in Orofino Idaho, where he continues to produce his art work.
